What kind of activities do you and Maverick enjoy?
Maverick and I go for runs almost every morning. We also enjoy long walks, hiking, kayaking, swimming, and camping! Maverick and I also love hanging out with friends (both human and dog friends!)
Do you always take Maverick on vacation with you?
Now, don't get me wrong. There are times when I just need to go on a trip without Maverick. Dogs are not allowed in State Reserves or National Parks. During these times of solo traveling, Maverick gets to stay and play at the PetSmart Pet Hotel. At $35 per night for a standard room + $24 for All day Day Camp, it's a small price to pay to be able to enjoy some time alone.
Tip: If your pup stays at the Pet Hotel, make sure to add a Full Day of Play at Day Camp on your day of check out. The hotel will waive the late check-out fee as long as you pick up your pet before the store closes!
What do you enjoy most about traveling?
I really enjoy visiting places that have a lot of history. I think this is one of the reasons that I love Europe. It really doesn't matter where you go in Europe There will be history that pre-dates anything in the US. I also love learning about other cultures and customs.
